    1. Some women will have irregular cycle all their life and that is not putting your health at any risk, as of the inconvenience I agree that it is easier with predictable periods. To help you in that mater, your physician can maybe propose you a birth control pill, that will stabilize your hormone levels and trigger the period on time.

    1. Hi, having unprotected intercourse 5 days before period, it is far after the fertility window, the odds that you are pregnant are very thin, but life is always reserving us some surprises. Skipping the cycle is quite possible as well for many reason such as stress, a new diet or a gym routine. Test yourself and you will know once for good if you are expecting or not. To track the date of the beginning of the pregnancy it will be simple – it will be the day 1 of the period that occurred in June.

  3. My period started last August 18 or 19 and ended sometime before August 24. We had unprotected sex on August 29 and he came into me. I’ve been experiencing slight headache, extreme mood swings and exhaustion, idiot know if I’m just imagining that my breasts increased somehow and sometimes hurt. Though some day it’s too early to tell. What can you say about this? Thank you! 🙂

    1. Hi , depending of the length of your cycle, if it is regular or not it is possible to be pregnant, but you might just listen too much to your body also ! The only way to confirm if you are pregnant will be to test yourself if your next period are delaying.

  4. My menstrual cycle came around on August 13th and ended on the 17th. Me and bf had sex around the last part of August. My next period was due three days ago and it haven’t shown up. Yet the tests, I took three of them, showed up negative. Could it be a possibility that I might be pregnant?

    1. Hi , a test will show positive 14 days after the last day of the last unprotected intercourse as the body need some time to build up enough HCG concentration to trigger the test.

    1. Hi , cumung or not, precum can contain spermatozoids … the only way to confirm if you are pregnant or not will be to test yourself as soon your period get late !

  6. Hi, I will be 40 next month. I had my tubes tied 12 years ago and had an Endo ablation 2 years ago. My periods have always been on time and on a 28 day cycle. I am currently 4 days late. I took a HPT and it was neg, and I called the nurse which instructed me to wait 2 weeks and take another one. I’ve heard of women getting pregnant after these procedures. What do you think?

      when you had tube tight, and have them reconnected you have to know that for each year the procedure was done, you decrease by 10% the chance of success. By example if the tubes were tight for 8 years… you have 80% chances that it will not work. In your case 12 years … it is a long time … statistic never confirm a complete negative chance of getting pregnant but they are negligent… Clock is ticking for you while your body can still carry a healthy pregnancy why not having in vitro procedure done with your ovary and his sperms … to grow in your womb to skip the need of the tubes ?

    1. Hi, Being pregnant is quite possible on the first few days of unprotected sex you had as they were in your fertility window. Test yourself as soon you get late !

      There is 2 school of thinking in regard of gender selection while naturally conceiving, either you control the balance of the PH of your vagina by what you eat to slow or disable female spermatozoid that like to be in a more alkaline environments or you track your fertility window with your temperature to be sure of the most fertile day and give a try on that unique day, as male spermatozoids are faster but live shorter…. female ones are slower but live longer.The only certified way to get pregnant of a boy will be in vitro procedure, where a male embryo can be selected in implanted.

    I got my period August 6th and then again August 26th. So far i havent gotten a period for September. Could i be pregnant, because im not on birth control and i haven’t been stressing?

Hi, do you have a regular or irregular cycle ? it is normal for a women to have 21 to 32 days cycle and to get some changes once in a while stress is not the only reason to skip or change the regularity of your cycle, new diet or gym routine ca be as well ! As of being pregnant, there is only one way to know ! test yourself 14 days after the last day you had intercourse, that is the time the body need to build up enough HCG hormone to trigger a positive test !

  17. Hello doc,I have unprotected sex with my man a day before my ovulation which is on 10th sept and also on my ovulation start day 11th sept and 12th sept repeatedly .can i get pregnant and when should I be confirm pregnant.

    1. Hi, you are doing it all right , to have intercourse prior the ovulation ! spermatozoids are living 72 hours in the womb, they will be there to attend the big arrival of the egg! Then to keep a constant flow of mature spermatozoids fellow , one day on 2 is recommended for the rest of the fertility window. Test yourself as soon you are late in your period !

  19. good day! Doc, i got my period last August 19 and ended last Aug. 22 and we had unprotected sex with my partner last Sept. 4 which is my ovulation date.     1. Hi , you tested yourself a bit early .. as after conception the body need 14 days to built enough HCG hormones to trigger a positive test. Please test yourself again and use the morning urine as this one will be the one containing the highest concentration of the hormone

    1. Hi , might be if you had unprotected sex or if you had issue with y our protection , now that you know for sure that you delay, test yourself ! In any case that you worry not having your period please have a talk with your physician that mignt be able to give you some answers !
