myself & my partner have been trying regularly to fall pregnant. My period is due today, I haven’t started so I took a test and it came up negative. Given that my test kit said I could test up to 6 days before my period was due, is it possible that I could still be pregnant, or is that a definite no?

I think that for this turn … if you are already 6 days past to the earliest reactive test, you missed the boat. BUT the test takes 14 days after conception to trigger, track the last day you tried to conceive, if it is not 14 days past, test it again by then … nature is capricious sometime.

My last menstruation was on 9Th of Nov, 15Th October, 19Th Sep, 25Th August, 29Th July etc, every month my cycle length is getting different with 26, 27 or 28 days, and last long for 4 days or sometimes 3 days. Hi , for irregular cycle it is still pretty simple. The day 1 if your period is the day 1 of your cycle, your fertile window is between day 10 and 17. During this period have intercourse only one day one 2, to allow more mature spermatozoids to be released. As they live 3 days in the womb, there will be always some up there to wait the ovulation to happen.

hi , conceiving take some time, more for some, less for others. You have to concentrate yourself on your fertile window, which start 10 days after the day 1 of your period and end day 17, within this week you need to have intercourse one day on 2 … not everyday, to allow more mature spermatozoids to be released.

Hi! My last period started on December 27th and it lasted for 5 days. I had sex with my husband somewhere between January 10th-January 20th. Today’s date is February 2nd and I still haven’t gotten my period. Yesterday I did a home pregnancy test but it was negative (however, I did do it in the afternoon. .). Is it still possible that I am pregnant? Oh, and I should mention that we have some problems during intercourse (he can’t go all the way in because it hurts me too much and so my hymen could still possibly be intact). So..could I be pregnant?

you should to test yourself with the fisrt morning urine, it is the one having the most HCG concentration, the hormone the test is looking for. Also if you have regular intercourse, I have big doubt that your hymen is still intact… some little girl rupture it just by doing bicycle … it is pretty fragile ! having difficulty penetrating might resulting from another issue and this should be addressed to your physician

I have PCOS so my doctor put me on contraceptic pills( yazmin),
I just started to take end of December 28 2014,
Period start Dec.28- January 22 2015,
But it’s February 4 now and I’m taking the second pack of the pills but I didn’t have my period until now,what should I do? I’m so worried,went for blood test to sure that I’m not pregy comes neg.

when you starts a new birth control pill your body need up to 3-4 cycles before getting use to it. Also when you change brand of pills it is recommended for 14 days to use condoms as the pill could not be completely effective yet.

Hi, have bin trying to conceive for sometime now but without success cos my period isn’t regular for instance I had my period on the 5th of dec then again on the 30th of dec, then by 30th of Jan my hope was raised but disappointed I saw my period on the 1st of FEB but the unusual thing is have been craving for sex since it started. Hi , hormones level is changing and having craving while having your period is not unusual, having sex while having your period is not dangerous either, you just need a very open minded partner … and of course a will to try it on in the shower maybe ! As of conception the rule is pretty simple for random cycles. Your cycle start with your period, call it day 1. your fertile window is between day 10 to 17 to make it wide. Have intercourse one day on 2, not more … during this window, that will allow more mature spermatozoids to be released so you will increase your chances of success.

I have been trying to conceive in the past 3 years now but to no avail. My period is irregular at times is 22 days,26 17. Am really worried. Jan.2015, it started on 6th. It also came out on 27th Jan 2015. Based on this, I can’t pinpoint my ovulation days. Pls I need your help

to pinpoint your fertility window with an irregular cycle is not to difficult. The main rule is quite simple. The first day of your cycle is the day 1 of your period. Your fertile window as you seem to have a short cycle will be day to day 17 to be very wide and not to miss it. The best way to conceive, is to have intercourse one day on two.. not more, this will allow more mature spermatozoids to be release, so it will increase your chances of success. The spermatozoid is living 3 days in the womb on his own nutriment reserve… so there will be always a few waiting for the egg ! After 3 years trying … I guess that both of you had a fertility screening to make sure that you can both conceive ? if not i strongly recommend you to do so.

Hi , I dont know if you tryed to conceive already but it is recommandded to wait 3 cycle before doing so to help your body to balance back the hormones before getting in the roller coaster again ! Your pharmacist can give you good information about your symptoms and will recommend you either to test yourself or to visit your physician.

the first day of your period is the day 1 of your cycle, your fertile window is between day 11 to 17 depending of the lengh of your cycle . On feb 20 th , it was a way to early to get pregnant. Check on this site, there is a good tool to use, to calculate your cycles.

You period had to start 28th march and not earlier than that if you have a regular 28 day period. You had sex too late to conceive but in the case when the period is extended or even paused because of some health issues, you might have gotten pregnant.

I would advise you that you practice safe sex if you are not eager to have children or if you are not having sex with the partner who will be happy to be a dad.
Also, by the calculator, I would say that you are having shorter periods ( 24 days?). So, you are usually having such a short periods, or you recently started to fluctuate? Because if you fluctuate in another direction ( prolonged period) you will be in the midst of the most fertile period at that date.

Your pregnancy test is negative because it is way early to use it. In the early stages of the pregnancy those over the counter tests usually don’t work even if you are pregnant. Also even if you had sex it doesn’t mean that you will instantly be pregnant. It doesn’t happen on command.
