Hi I’m juliet I was 10/11 weeks pregnant i took cytotec orally on the 6 of september 2017….After few hours I started bleeding with clot for 8hours. ….and i have been having light bleeding after the clot, i eat frequently now prior to taking cytotec. I’m confused if the abortion had happened or not because I still feel pregnant…..little abdominal pain tender breast and stomach is bloating…… is it normal?

    1. Hi there Juliet, you won’t feel back to normal so soon. You might experience same pregnancy symptoms and even bloating after abortion. Give it some time.

  4. Hi, I’m Wendy. After taking cycotec and injections I still have light bleeding after 6days. I’ve done scan and it shows that the pregnancy is terminated already but I still have light flow will it still flow out fully or what should I do for it to flow well.

I took mifepristine and misoprostol last Thursday and I passed all the clots and fleshy like and the fetus… and now in the ultrasound there is still blood in the uterus and I still have bleeding.. the doctor say it will naturally come out they will just prescribed me medicine to help it come out. But the other doctor says she need to schedule me for d&c but its not an emergency case.. what should I do.? I am not married and this country is strict regarding this.

    1. Hello John, if her PT says pregnant a month after an abortion then she might still be pregnant.

Had heavy flow 4days and light flow two days.its 1week today and my breast is still sensitive although not as before, but my stomach is bloated and i have this stiff feel on the right side of my abdomen(same spot i had a heavy feeling before the abortion) , it feels weird.im not vomiting or feeling very weak tho, i eat better but cant use the toilet, my tummy is getting bigger plus i gained weight. My name is Justine, I had a surgical abortion 2 days ago, I have done my research and see that bloating is normal, however it is very painful, I’m unable to let out gas, and can barely sleep because of the pain. I can’t really walk because my stomach is in to much pain. And I really should be going back to work. Tyenol doesn’t help. Can I take 1000 miligrams? I was told 800. Also after my abortion I was extremely weak and dizzy, I was pretty sure it was because lack of food. After I ate I felt much better. All day yesterday I felt back to normal and was even walking around. Did I over do it maybe? Last night is when the gas problem started happening. I was at my parents throughout the day and didn’t want to let out gas infront of them. Perhaps that was a bad idea? Anyways does this sound like I should see my doctor?
