  1. Hi, I had an abortion at 14 weeks on the 23 Nov with misoprostol, after 4days on the 26nov I went for d and c, I bled on for an hour after which I was feeling fine and back to my usual self.
    The following day I got a grinding pain in my pelvic joints and still no bleeding, is this normal?
    And also how long till I can have sex again?

    1. Hello Kate, it is normal to have cramping after an abortion. You can start having sex again 2-3 weeks after.

Hello i am Lynn,I just got vacuum aspiration done on the 29th I was 6 weeks pregnant, I had bleeding right after for about hour then it stopped an I am still spotting but been having lot head aches an was wondering if it’s just me having a cold or could be something wrong from abortion ?     1. Hello Lynn, this is normal for a lot of women after an abortion. Period should return 3-6 weeks after an abortion.

    1. Hello Neema, you have already aborted as a result there is nothing that can be done. You can however speak to your boyfriend about how you feel as it relates to the entire situation.

  14. Hi, am Mari, was 3 weeks pregnant, took abortion pills and injection the 4th week, heavy flow and painful cramps for few hours same day I took the drugs and injection then it stopped. Took another pill two days later but the flow was really light.. was it’s successful?
    As I don’t need a baby right now! Although no pregnancy symptoms just that tiredness and stomach looks big.

    1. Hello Mari, once pills and injection were taken as recommended then you should abort successfully. It is normal for you to be bleeding now and also being bloated is normal at this time. If you are not convinced then you can repeat a pregnancy test in 14 days.

    1. Hello Gemma, some of these symptoms are normal during an abortion however see your doctor if this gets unbearable.

Hello there, i was 5 weeks pregnant when i took mistropi pills which didn’t work and then had an abortion curettage in week 12, i had bleedings in both times of abortion, its now 2 months from curettage abortion i still feel nausea and have stomach bloating amd pain in my abdominal area , last week my family doctor said i still can be pregnant, is that even possible?
