    I had a medical abortion at 17 weeks pregnant on the 31st of Jan 2018 and today is the 2nd of March 2018. I haven’t been sexual active since the abortion and I still haven’t gotten my period. Is it normal not to get my period yet, and when should I get it?

Hi, I had a surgical abortion on 23rd of December and after having sex with my husband on 26th of December I started my period with heavy cramps came out for like two days and my stomach was paining during the coming of the heavy cramps I decided to go back to the hospital the ultrasound sound showed everything was normal but endometrium was low, doctor gave me medicine for two weeks I finished the dose and my period last for 10days, I wished to be impregnant again but unfortunately on 31st January I started my period which normally last for 7days so since I am really in need of another pregnancy on my ovulation day I had sex but sadly on 3rd March I start my period again, kindly your suggestion is there any problem with the abortion i did or what

  5. I found out i was pregnant on d 28th of January,2018. I had a surgical operation done on the d following day(29th of January), I bled for a couple of minutes after it was done. I didn’t see anything (my period) until d 6th day of February. It was light and lasted for 4 days.
    I’m yet to see my next period for d month of march(its day30th of my cycle already) all I’m seeing is some white thick fluid coming out since I woke up today. Although there has been some brownish stuff that has been sticking to my pant since d past two days now.

  6. I had an abortion [pill form] on February 2nd of this year and the bleeding lasted from the 2nd to the 9th. After that the bleeding was off and on and I passed some tissue on the 15th of February as well. Anyways, on my app that I use to track my cycle it says I was supposed to have started my period on the 3rd of this month, but its been 5 days now and I still haven’t started my period. I want to take a pregnancy test but I’m afraid it may show up as a false positive. What should I do? The day before I was supposed to start my period [March 2nd] I had slight cramping and some yellow discharge but it was kind of watery. Since then I’ve still had watery clear discharge to where I feel ‘wet’ down there like I do during ovulation week. Is this a sign I’m ovulating or pregnant? Please advise.

    1. Hello Mhysa, after an abortion your period will not come when you are expecting it. It might be a bit delayed and also irregular in flow for a while.

  7. I had an abortion Feb 2, 2017. Took me about 2 months for my cycle to regulate with no spotting. Everything was regular until July.. My cycle is normally 26 days each month on the dot. Now my cycle has been varying month to month 1 to two days of a difference late or early and one month it was 30 days.. Is this a cause of concern? I never miss a period and the length of the period has been the same as its always been. I have an appt for a check up next week but I need some answers today.

  9. I had a surgical abortion mid January 2017, everything was fine. My period came out exactly 4weeks after the procedure. It was initially dark brown wit cramps. Later became light. But the flow was short not heavy. Cramps was severe, . Now I can’t ovulate and I feel pains in lower abdomen left and right with back pain. Could I be pregnant again? Y cant I ovulate. Hi please my girl friend had a medical abortion on 16th January but it was incomplete so we went to the hospital on the 17th feb and they gave her a medicine for her to expell the remains but little blood came for a minute… Just last week she had her menses accompanied by heavy cramps that she can wake up from the bed… And with a a watery fluid which look like a blood comes out unexpectedly???

    I had abortion after 8 week pregnancy on 16th August 2018. Bleeding for 6 days.
    I never had menses. Than on 10th Jan 2018 , bleeding started and it stopped on 3rd Feb 2018. Then later after 15days on18th Feb I started bleeding and it is 21 days I am still bleeding.

  16. Hello, I had a pill abortion on the 10th of February. My period hasn’t gotten here . I took a pregnancy test to see if the hormones were out already and it came back negative that was two weeks ago . I took one this week and it’s slightly positive ? Hello I had an abortion on Feb 8 then my ist period lasted from 10-18th days, on 10th march I had protected sex but the condom broke and he pull out a second before he cum, i used postinor 1 (10tablet) took all at interve of 2hrs then i took postinor 2 after 48hrs of the meet day, expected my period but uptill now have not see it.
